What is the Conservation Cup?

It is the Forest Preserve Foundation’s signature fundraising golf event that supports:

  • Next generation environmental advocates through paid summer internships that provide employment and leadership experiences for teens and young adults in the Forest Preserves of Cook County.
  • Equity and access to nature, an introduction to conservation, and potential career paths in conservation.
  • Climate change mitigation through ecological restoration projects that return our natural landscapes to sustainable health.
SCA-2020

Along with a paycheck, forest preserves programs open up nature ‘to young people who often times won’t have access to these experiences’

Safety precautions followed at George Dunne Course:
Touch points are sanitized every hour. | Golf carts are sanitized before the next golfer. | All employees are wearing masks. | Golfers are required to wear masks in the clubhouse. | The bathrooms are sanitized multiple times throughout the day. |
