A fun-filled September seed collecting event in a prairie,

Sept. 30, 2023, 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. 

Join Foundation board and staff at Salt Creek Woods Nature Preserve for comaraderie, food, and seed collecting! We'll learn from Forest Preserves of Cook County staff about native plant seeds while we help make our public green spaces stronger and healthier for the benefit of all Cook County communities. 

We'll bring all the tools you'll need for seed collecting -- just bring your sense of fun and adventure and love for the Preserves!

We're looking forward to seeing you for a day of community fun out in the Preserves!
